Those close to me know that in April 2015 I was diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy. I'm incredibly fortunate that my form of epilepsy is pretty mild. Apart from losing my driving licence for a couple of years and having 24 months of finding the right medication to stop my seizures, my life has hardly changed.

However, I've since learned a lot about the condition and realise how fortunate I am. Epilepsy can affect people in the worst of ways which is why I am raising money for Epilepsy Action by running The Great North Run. Please be generous...
