This June marks 15 years since the last of my own set of operations with a brief stint in intensive care.  Since then I had mooted the idea of raising money for a children’s hospital or something similar in the future. Well it’s only taken me 15 years so better late than never. I will be completing the 100km continuously for as long as it takes.  

Great Ormond Street Hospital seemed the natural fit. Their brilliant work treating children suffering life changing illnesses whilst ensuring being sick does not always mean being sad is an inspiration to us all.

Any amount you are able to spare is greatly appreciated and will make a big difference. If anyone would like to line part of the route to say hi that would be a massive help, especially when I’m flagging near the end. 🫡
