The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.

Story

#walkforstu

On the 14th of November we lost a dear friend, co-owner and colleague, Stuart Irvine. Stu made an enormous contribution to our business and leaves behind a loving wife (Amanda), daughter (Olivia), son (Cameron), Mum (Pat) and Dad (Mick).

Stu  had many interests outside of planning which included the odd round of golf and walks with his family around his home county of Derbyshire. He was also a strong supporter of Guide Dogs for the Blind and so we are delighted to confirm that our co-owners have organised a series of events to raise money for his favourite  charity.

Our main fundraising events start on the 1st of July when over 60 of our co-owners will be walking round the peak district on  a variety of routes,, all of which meet at one of Stu’s favourite landmarks, Mam-Tor. Around this time, each of our offices in Turley will be planning their own events such as a family walk with dogs to cake sales.

We will also be hosting a Charity Golf Day on the 22nd of September. Stu loved nothing more than spending a day losing golf balls and no doubt some of his co-owners will strive hard to  match his talents.

As other events are planned and delivered we will be sharing updates on this page.

If you would like to support our fundraising we would be very grateful for any contribution to our goal. For this fundraising we are delighted to receive the support of the Turley Charitable Trust whom will match fund every pound up to a total value of £12,000.
