105 Regt RA 100 mile run/200 mile cycle · 1 May 2020

The Royal Artillery Charitable Fund assists all Royal Artillery officers, soldiers and their dependants, both serving and retired, in their time of need - whatever the cause and at any time in their lives. Help us to assist them now!

Story

Members of 105 Regt RA will run / walk 100 miles or cycle 200miles in the month of May to raise money for the RACF, specifically for those current and ex-members of the RA who need financial assistance, especially in the current climate.

This event has 3 main objectives:

  1. Raise money for the Gunner family through the RACF.
  1. Encourage exercise whilst adhering to govt advice.
  1. Bring the Gunner community (both serving and retired) together in times of need.

The beauty of this simple yet effective event is that anyone can take part whilst maintaining social distancing etc. The ask is not unachievable for anyone (just over 3 miles a day), walking or running. It will also raise money for the RACF who assist serving and ex, regular and reserve soldiers 365 days a year. And the need now, is no doubt more than ever.
