Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page .
I've decided, this year to help raise funds for Alzheimer's society.
I'm doing a mountain climb to the top of Snowdon & back at night on 13th May 16 starting at 11pm for the Alzheimer's society.
It would be amazing if you could donate any amount you can to help us raise as much as possible to help fight this cruel disease xx
please can you share this page on your wall even if you can't afford to give xx Thank you so much xx
Everyone knows someone with dementia.
We need to find a cure.

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Dementia is one of the biggest health and social care challenges we face today, and it is one that we as a society cannot afford to ignore any longer. 1 in 3 people over the age of 65 will die with some form of dementia and as the population ages increasing numbers of us are being affected. By 2021 there will be more than a million people living with dementia in the UK, not to mention the families and carers who will also be affected. Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading dementia support and research charity. We exist to champion the rights of everyone with dementia and those who care for them . We also fund innovative research in the areas of cause, cure, care and prevention. There are currently 800,000 people in the UK living with dementia. Dementia can happen to anyone and there is currently no cure. But with the right support, people can live well with dementia.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
