Story

VIRTUAL TOUR OF PEMBROKESHIRE BIKE RIDE

** Having reached my target, I am now going to double it to £1000 and I will also double my distance challenge to 550 miles**

The Tour of Pembrokeshire is an annual fundraising bike ride with an option of four different distances to complete (23, 62, 83 and 105 miles). Unfortunately, this year, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the organisers have had to cancel the live event. Instead they are running a Virtual Tour.  I am aiming to cycle the total distance of the mileage options ie. 273 miles, throughout the month of June.

The chosen charity for this year is the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (R.A.B.I.)

R.A.B.I. supports farmers, their families and farmworkers who are in financial difficulty through no fault of their own.
Factors such as bereavement, accidents and adverse weather can cause catastrophic difficulties for the farming community. The charity provides confidential support, advice and includes one-off or regular payments and funding for things like essential household items, disability equipment, relief farm staff, home-help and care costs.

All monies donated to the charity go directly to the beneficiaries. None is used for administration.

Charities are also struggling throughout this pandemic as many of their fundraising events have had to be cancelled. Please help me to support them by donating what you can

Many thanks

Sue
