I am a trustee and volunteer with WDP who are celebrating their 30th Anniversary by launching an "Around the World" team challenge and fundraiser. Measured at the equator, the Earth has a circumference of just over 24,900 miles. The whole team are working together to cover the distance. Our contribution is a shared "triathlon" of cycling together, Sue's swimming and Col's running! We started in the summer and so far we have completed 547.5 miles. We hope to complete at least 1,000 miles before the end of WDP's anniversary year. WDP provides information, advice and guidance and a range services that help disabled people to lead active, valued and independent lives.
