Story

Nearly there! Thank you for all the donations... Costumes sorted! Countdown to blast off is on!!! #Whoosh :D xx

Thank you all for the sponsors so far... #Chuffed ;) xx

120+ women (and a few men!) are zip wiring to raise money for the Oxfam Get Together as part of Oxfam International Women’s Day.

On Sunday 10th March 2013, we are all zipping off a 150ft (46m) crane, which is the equivalent of the new air traffic control tower at Newcastle Airport (see pic).

We are zipping in fancy dress (Sue as a #SoldierGirl and Chris as a #LadyBoy) at 10:15am.  We follow the Mayoress of Morpeth , Penni Blythe-Jones, BBC presenter Jonathan Miles and Sky reporter Pippa Gorman at 10:00am.

The event is taking place at Morpeth Rugby Club where there will be parking, various activities (craft stalls, face painter, fire brigade etc.), food and drink, an after zip party, and don't forget the goody bags by Roloca's Realm!

Please give generously, we are both 'slightly scared'... ;)
