Thank you all so much for donating - I completed the run in 3 hours 14 minutes - it was a truly awe inspiring experience and I enjoyed every minute of it.  Will definitely be doing it all over again next year.  Newcastle is a great place and the support from everyone along the way tremendous.  It was a privilege to run and to be part of such a huge event. I have now raised over £500 and would like to thank all my friends and colleagues - as well as those of you I've never met for your generosity for such a good cause.

Just a quick note to ask you to consider donating to my chosen Charity - Breakthrough Breast Cancer.  This disease has touched many people I've known - some extremely close friends and some acquaintances.  All of these people are important - some have successfully beaten the disease - others have not been so fortunate - so it is remembering all of these people that I have crazily agreed to do my second half marathon.  It's not an easy task but it will be worth it if I can raise the amount I have pledged.  Please give generously - guys it may affect the women you love - ladies it could be anyone of us.  Thanks a million - I really appreciate every penny.
