Our family friend died very suddenly of cancer and my Nannie is fighting hers daily

The scary fact is 1 in 2 people are diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives 

I am doing this to raise money and awareness of cancer and to help the  cancer research charity   

I am getting a buzz cut because I want to put myself through what many people go through when they lose their hair as a result of chemotherapy   

I want to ensure that less people go through cancer and with research they can hopefully and eventually find a cure
