Hi 👋 meet my daughter Summer, who is just 6 years old. She’s been growing her “princess” like hair for a few years now. She was always known as rapunzel to us because of how long her hair was from just 2 years old and how kind hearted she is as a person.   

She said to me one day “mum, I want someone else to feel like a princess just like I do, I want to make people happy” she only knew a little bit about cancer, she knew that unfortunately people do lose their hair. After some research we found the little princess trust. Summer had the most amazing idea to donate her hair to this trust so children that have lost their hair due to cancer or another condition can restore their confidence and identity. 

Summer wants to make a real difference to another persons life, she feels every little girl deserves to feel like a princess. I think it would be amazing to not only donate the hair to those strong, beautiful individuals but to ask for any contribution towards the amazing people that make these wigs. The trust relies solely on the efforts of community fundraisers and they receive no formal funding. The cost of just one wig is about £550, which they give to the children for free. How incredibly amazing is that?? :-)
