Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
We've all seen the terrible footage from Ukraine on the news and I'm sure we've all felt helpless watching. I, like many wanted to do something to raise some money for one of the charities who are doing so much work to help the people of Ukraine 🇺🇦 .
My name is Susie and I am a paper cut artist living in Taunton, Somerset, UK. I have created a new paper cut artwork featuring a quote about sunflowers. It reads “Be like a Sunflower, even on the darkest days, stand tall and find the sunlight”
Sunflowers have been used as a symbol of peace in Ukraine and have become an unofficial National symbol.
In my artwork Papercut sunflowers and blue butterflies (to represent the colours of the Ukraine flag) surround the quote. The artwork will come framed in a white box frame measuring approx 23cm x 23cm.
