Story

I am so proud to be part of #TeamNPB, running alongside Noah's mum and co-founder of Noah's Pink Balloon Leukaemia Fund - in honour of our incredibly special Noah.

Noah was only five when he was diagnosed with leukaemia. Despite a courageous fight, at the end of his first month of chemotherapy, Noah's immune system was too weak to fight off an infection and he died of an invasive fungal infection, Mucormycosis.

There is a vital need for more research so that clinicians know how treat these types of infections in patients, like Noah, whose immune system was compromised, to improve their chance of a full recovery.

Noah's Pink Balloon Leukaemia Fund aims to do this by finding and supporting the underfunded areas of leukaemia research - the first project being a research Fellowship into Mucormycosis.

Please support  Noah's Pink Balloon Leukaemia Fund by donating if you can, and by sharing Noah's story.
