My sister Ruth lost her battle with lung cancer and tragically passed away at 66 years of age. The loss of Ruth is keenly felt by all her family and friends. So as a tribute to her, I’m taking part in Swimming the Distance to support Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. This June, we’re collectively swimming the distance of the UK coastline to raise vital funds for people affected by lung cancer. Swimming takes time and commitment, ( I don’t have much time ) but I’m proud to dedicate my miles to this cause. Any donation, big or small, will make a real difference. I am 60 this year so in lieu of birthday gifts please help me to meet my target. I can’t swim too far but I’m going to try and do as mu you so much for your support. Please help me raise funds for this cause in memory of my sister.
