Hi everyone,

Thank you very much for taking the time to have a look at my fundraisig page. I'm running the Bath Half Marathon on the 6th March and am fundraising for the Multiple Sclerosis Trust. 

Having done the same half marathon 3 years ago, I swore to myself never to go through this amount of pain again, running clearly not being my natural talent. As you can see, time clearly erradicates all memories of the dreadfully aching muscles and I've decided to do it all again in order to fundraise for the MS Trust. 

This is a cause very, very close to my heart, as my mum was diagnosed with it just after I was born and then lived with it for 16 years. She was always very engaged in the local MS support group and put a great deal of energy into it to ensure that people like her had someone they could talk to, find out more about MS, go to specific workshops and just had a network of friends who understood what it was like to live with MS.

So following her energetic and inspirational example, I've decided to fundraise for the MS Trust as they are providing a great service for anyone in the UK who is affected by MS. This includes education programmes for health professionals, funding for practical research and campaigning for specialist multiple sclerosis services. It would be wonderful if you could support me in my effort to raise some money for this great charity.
