Myself and my best friend Heather are running the TCS London marathon on 2 October 2022, in memory of my brother Robin. On the day of his funeral last autumn, Heather suggested that we should do something 'big' to raise money for Marie Curie, as the care that he received at the Hampstead Hospice was exceptional. We are aiming to raise enough money to 'pay for a day', so that other families and friends can be fortunate enough to spend time with their loved ones through terminal illness. 

It doesn't get much 'bigger' than a marathon, so we have been donning our running shoes and pounding the lanes of Gloucestershire over the last few months. Keep a look out for updates below as we near the event date!
