With a lot of help from my friends, I am aiming to raise £10,000 for Marie Curie in 2022 in memory of my brother Robin Brennan. Robin passed away last September after a very long battle with cancer, but he spent his last weeks at the Marie Curie Hospice in Hampstead London. I really don't know what we would have done without the care, support and professionalism of all the staff who made an unbearable time, bearable. It costs just shy of £10,000 to run the Hospice for one day, so that is my goal so that up to 30 families (the Hospice can care for up to 15 men and 15 women at a time) can spend another day with their terminally ill loved one.
