Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

In September 1985, we met at Swansea University and ever since have been friends, having plenty of great times together. So to celebrate our 20 years we've decided to do the Hydro Active Women's Challenge, a 5k run around Hyde Park (which will definately be a challenge for us!!).

We know we've been lucky and want to help others, particularly children have some happy times too. Therefore we've decided to try and raise £1,000 for The Shooting Star Children's Hospice whose aim is to make "every precious moment count"

You can sponsor as an individual or a team, we'd really appreciate your help in hitting our target.....! Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Shooting Star Children's Hospice will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Thanks for your support (& for not laughing at our red faces when we finally finish our run). Amanda, Mel, Liz and Steph
