Ukraine has faced almost eight years of conflict. With recent events, we want to be there for everyone who needs us

Story

As schools in Swansea we stand shoulder to shoulder with our brothers and sisters in Ukraine. They desperately need our help at this time so this is an urgent appeal.

Our money will get sent straight to the Red Cross that is on the front line of the crisis.  It will be used to purchase much needed emergency medical supplies, shelter to those who have been displaced, give families access to food and water and relief items.

On Thursday 10th March we will be holding a stand up for Ukraine day across all schools in swansea. Pupils and staff can wear something blue and yellow to support those in Ukraine for a fee of £1. If every pupil across the authority donated then we would have raised over £30000, this would be a phenomenal achievement!

I know all of us across the authority have had our hearts broken by what we have seen on our tv screens. I am sure you have felt like wanting to do something.  Can I encourage you to dig deep knowing your donation will make a huge difference.
