SYRIA – the ongoing tragedy that won’t stop
The UN Secretary General has described the situation in Syria as “hell on earth”. The situation has reached such a level of atrocity that UNICEF published a blank statement quoting “We no longer have the words to describe children’s suffering and our outrage.”
Civilians are trapped in the city without the basic essentials like food, clean water and medical aid needed to survive. Is this any way to live?
