Tahlia's Dream to Walk and Dance

On the 1st of October 2016 our beautiful 10
year old daughter underwent life changing Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy surgery at Great Ormond Street hospital.

We are now fundraising for the vital private physiotherapy and rehab to build her strength and mobility so she continue her incredible journey towards her dream. 

We have recently also joined with national children’s charity, Caudwell Children, who are supporting our continued fundraising for Tahlia.

OUR STORY:

Tahlia was born 11 weeks early weighing only 2lb 14oz, she had to spend her first 10 weeks of life in the special care baby unit at DCH.

At 15 months old we were given the heartbreaking diagnosis of severe Cerebral Palsy that affects Tahlia's whole body in varying degrees.

But despite everything that Tahlia has had to face throughout her life, she always has a beautiful smile and a very cheeky little character.

Tahlia's ultimate dream is to be able to dance with her sisters and to be able to walk unaided. Tahlia knows that to achieve this dream she will have to work extremely hard, but she has already surprised everyone who knows her with her hard work and determination. 

Tahlia is a very strong and determined little girl who has been an inspiration to everyone who has ever met her and knows her.
