21st Aug 2018 first day riding

Been riding the Tandem with Keith since may 2016 where I had my first taster session of being the Pilot on the bike. since then I have enjoyed the company on the bike and doing something different and getting Keith out on the bike.

Keith is completely blind and of course foolishly puts his complete trust into me for taking him out on the bike and getting him home in one piece. From riding with me he has acquired a new vocabulary especially when cars cross our path.

last count we have clocked up 1800 miles together on the tandem. which includes club rides , club time trials etc.

I'm fast approaching 40 and this is on my to do list and thought what abetter way to get it done but to ride it on the tandem with Keith!

while we are riding we thought it would be a good idea to raise money for a cause which has helped Keith through the years with his own Guide dog.
