Story
Here at Tanzii TV, promoting the importance of children's physical and mental wellbeing is at the heart of what we do.
Did you know?
That ONE in SIX children and young people now have a diagnosable mental health issue. That’s FIVE children in EVERY classroom with a condition like depression or anxiety.
Children's mental health has suffered enough and with the current lockdown measure, children are not exercising as regularly as they should. This means that they are missing out on the opportunity to release some feel-good endorphins.
That is WHY we are taking a stand to make a positive difference to the lives of children through showing how fun, easy and interactive exercise can be which can leave us all feeling happier and healthier!
What are we doing?
Every day from the 1st - 5th February from 8am, Tanzii TV will get children up and active through our Virtual Olympic Games.
This jam-packed week is filled with fun and interactive Olympic themed workouts and showcases ways to manage our mental wellbeing during this lockdown period.
BUT we have a few twists and surprises...
So join us as we show children how fun sport and exercise can be!
How can you help?
Place2Be is the UK's leading school-based mental health charity, providing support to children, families and school-based staff when they need it most.
Please help us support Place2Be’s vital work, and together WE can make a real difference to children's mental health and ensure that children don’t have to face mental health problems alone.
We are aiming to raise over £100 for this amazing charity who are doing a fantastic job. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated.
