Hello friends. As most of you know, my Father was Lebanese and I have lots of family in Beirut. It has been devastating to see the effects of the explosions that killed and injured so many, and left an estimated 300,000+ people without homes. I have been left feeling helpless but knew I had to do something, and this is all I could think of. I am running 100km in September to try and encourage my friends to donate to Unicef to help protect the children and families affected. Unicef are responding to the needs of children, families and health workers by providing safe drinking water and hygiene kits as well as offering counselling to support children who are experiencing trauma and those who have lost loved ones.
