Yes, believe it or not but I am training for London Marathon.
…and this is my story
The last time I was running two to three times a week was at school (long long time agoJ) because I hated running. Having said that, I love sport and I truly enjoy group classes in my local gym but I always thought that running is extremely boring exercise.
Two years ago I decided to add cardio exercise to my routine weight training sessions. My training schedule looked quite plain: 1-2 runs a week, the same distance, the same route and the same time and as I said before, I always thought running is BORING!
The only problem is, I love challenges and I decided to put myself forward for the London Marathon. To do something that you hate doing is achievement in a way.
I am doing this for three countries, Russia-which is my country of origin, Bulgaria- where my husband came from and England where our gorgeous son was born and where I met so many lovely people and made truly friends!!!!
My training schedule officially started two months ago and I am proud to say that I’ve been running thought snow and wind, rain and my hubby’s moaning. I’ve got blisters on my feet and a feeling of constant hunger, so please be kind and generous to me.
I am raising money for the City of Westminster Charitable Trust, a small charity running community projects locally. I am targeting to raise £500 for the trust.
