Story

Richard, Ryan & Steve; supported by TBAT Innovation are riding Coast to Coast (172 Miles, 2 days) from Whitehaven to Robin Hood's Bay. On behalf of #TeamAlyssa and CLIC Sargent

The challenge

  • Two days (18th & 19th September 2020)
  • Whitehaven to Robin Hood's Bay (view Strava route)
  • 172 miles (275km) through the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors
  • 14,000 feet (4250m) of climbing

Why we're riding

In August 2019 our colleague Matt told us the devastating news that his three year old daughter, Alyssa, had been diagnosed with liver and lung cancer. You can read more about Alyssa's story here.

Alyssa has been in treatment ever since, and despite going through experiences that no young child should go through, she continues to smile, laugh and dance through it all.

CLIC Sargent have supported Alyssa and her family throughout her treatment and we couldn't think of a more worthwhile cause!

How you can help

  • Sponsor our ride via JustGiving
  • Share our JustGiving page with your friends, family and colleagues
  • Ride with us! All or part of the way
  • Anything else you can think of! Kit, supplies, promotion - we're open to suggestions

For more details about the route and updates on our training progress, keep an eye on our TBAT Blog.

If you want to discuss any of the above, please get in touch at info@tbat.co.uk or call 01332 819740.
