Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me and my team online.

The bike ride will take place on 1st July 2006. It will be a flexible, family-orientated event, to accommodate all the people who will be participating, from young to old, from fit to feeble. The route will take us from West Bridgford to Holme Pierrepont, where we will cycle around the National Water Sports Centre. The number of circuits for each individual will depend on his/her individual age and fitness. I am aiming to complete ten laps, which will be no mean feat dressed as a scarecrow with Dorothy and Toto hitching a ride on the back of my bike.

The youngest member of the team is 3 years and 4 months old. We will have other young people on their own bicycles and cyclists encompassing every conceivable degree of fitness and maturity. Each participant will cycle around the water as many times as possible, pausing only to partake of the sumptuous picnic which will be provided.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: NSPCC will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me and my team now!

Many thanks for your support.
