As a team we are completing the Trekfest 25km (15.5miles) walk across the Peak District, Hope Valley on Saturday 2nd September 2017.
We will keep you all updated with any news about this event, before and after the event.
We are doing this walk in memory of Sandie Neave who sadly passed away from Cancer on Wednesday 28th December 2016. Havens Hospice provided wonderful care at both the hospice and at home in her last couple of weeks, in particular her last few days. They looked after Sandie making her feel comfortable, as well as helping out the family.
The hospice nurses and doctors do amazing work and need every penny to help continue the great work they do for everyone diagnosed with a terminal illness. The aim of Fair Havens is to provide specialist hospice care – also known as palliative care - in a holistic manner for people living with life-limiting or life-threatening illnesses together with those closest to them.
Sandie wanted to raise money for Havens Hospice, Fair havens, to thank them for their care.
We want to continue to raise money in the memory of Sandie, therefore if you want to help please donate on our page.
Thank you for your donations
