Story

WE ARE RAISING MONEY FOR BOTH THE C GROUP AND DEVON AIR AMBULANCE

The C Group was founded in 2007 and comprises a growing number of businessmen, who have an interest in suporting Royal Marines.

One of the three C Group objectives is "to support the on-going rehabilitation and
re-integration of injured and wounded Royal Marines, whether this is within the Corps or in a new direction in a civilian career"

It was unitially proposed that the name should be "The Commando Group", but soon became apparent that the "C" represented a far wider range of meanings: those immediately springing to mind being COURAGE, CHARACTER, COMMUNITY, CASUALTY, COMMERCE, CARE - the interpretations were endless.

For the sake of simplicity it was agreed that the name should remain as "The C Group", with a view to establishing this amongst the Royal Marines and the business community as a brand which delivers support, be it financial, material or welfare, to serving and former Royal Marines when and where it can be of most benefit

Support is aimed at all Royal Marines, but at the current time the primary focus must be our wounded. To date over £80,000 has been raised and £50,000 disbursed, the majority of which has been directed towards those on the Recovery - Rehabilitation - Reintergration pathway.
