Inspired by our beautiful Ivy, we are asking you to join our fundraising efforts to support The Lily Foundation. You can donate directly or take on your own challenge. Together we will beat Mito.

Story

Andrew Clegg, Andy Smithers, Rich Brackenbury and Jonathan Brown are participating in the Ride London 2019. We will be riding 100 miles in one day around London and the Surrey Hills.

We are raising money for the fabulous Lily Foundation that help raise funds for children with a mitochondrial condition that Jonathan Brown's niece was born with.

Ivy was born at the same time as Lily (the inspiration behind The Lily Foundation) in 2006 and both these special girls were born with Mitochondrial Disease. Sadly Lily lost her fight at just eight months old.

Ivy bravely soldiers on, but she still is not able to sit up on her own, walk, talk or swallow food safely! Her family live one day at a time and do all we can to make her life as full as possible.

Every day in the UK a child is born with Mitochondrial disease, a cruel, incurable and life limiting condition. It is probably the most common, disease you have previously never heard of, and 12 years ago there was no information or any network supporting familys like ours and Lilys. The Lily Foundation was born to change this and to strive to one day find a cure through funding research, raising awareness and supporting families.

Please donate if you can and help me help Team Ivy and The Lily foundation give hope to so many.

Thank you
