Hello,

 We are a group of students from Nottingham Trent University and we are holding an Online Art Competition as a way to raise money for the John van Geest Cancer Research Centre.
Cancer is a disease, which unfortunately, affects millions of individuals around the world. Although it is mostly fatal, modern research finds new ways in which it can rehabilitate those affected by cancer. Which is why we want to ask your help in donating money for that cause.

 As to why we want to hold an art competition, the answer is quite simple; Art, of any shape or form is an expression of the heart and the mind of its creator. And since art is created by emotions, it can affect those of the beholder as well. So, we believe that by the creation of art, the minds and hearts of cancer patients around the world can be filled with happiness and courage, thanks to it.

 If you feel like you want to support our cause, then you can decide whether or not you want to take part in the competition; 

 If you wish to take part in it, then you will need to make a donation of 1.5 pounds, as a ticket fee. Then, give us your contact details (email), so that we know you have paid for the ticket and you wish to take part. Once you have completed these steps, you need to send us your piece of art via a photo or video and send it to our email at 'team.peaan.2021@gmail.com' until April 18th. We will contact you within the next 5 days and let you now if you are one of the top 3 contenders. The first 3 places will receive a money prize of 15 pounds, 10 pounds and 5 pounds, respectively.

 If you are wondering about what you can create, there are no bounds. You can create a drawing, a video or even a song, as long as it follows our chosen theme which is; Happiness.

 If you do not wish to take part, however you want to donate, then you are free to do so. You can set the amount you wish to pay by yourself. Any donation, be it big or little will help us reach our goal.
All money collected, will go directly to the research centre, after the competition is over.
