My husband Gregg and I (aka Team Varey) will be running the London marathon in 2024! We have chosen to run for the amazing charity Make-A-Wish® UK. 

Our reasons for choosing this charity is because Make-A-Wish® UK grant life-changing wishes to thousands of critically ill children across the UK. Supporting this charity has the power to make a wish come true for a critically ill child, allowing families to create lasting memories that they will treasure forever – no matter what the future holds. Each donation can make a difference, no matter how small. 

For those of you that know us really well, you will know that we are incredibly competitive. Whilst we will be training partners and experience this together, we will very much be aiming to beat one another 😊. 

Our children will be in the crowd to cheer us on and getting to see them at the finish line is something we will never take for granted. Every moment counts and this charity is a gentle reminder of that 🩷💙.
