Story
Together with my son, Tim, we are sleeping out for a night to raise money for veterans, so please help us to help them. Today, Alabarés work with homeless and vulnerable veterans echoes that of The Old Royal Naval College and a shared desire to see homeless ex-Armed Forces personnel supported in their lives outside of the military. Alabaré welcomes veterans from all over the UK and provides supported accommodation, along with a bespoke package of training, education and skills, so a veteran can move forward with their lives. Alabaré is the largest provider of Homes for Veterans outside of London. All the funds needed for this programme must be fundraised. So on Friday 24th March, we are taking a stand against homelessness by bedding down for one night at this unique venue, in a single act of compassion to help more veterans off the street. This has never been done before at the College but Alabaré was the first to take the BIG Sleep to the Tower of London, so they know what they are doing! What they can't affect is the weather and they have previously run the event at -4 so dig deep!
