Story

For Dad and Nanny Eileen❤️

We are raising money for Pilgrims Hospice by taking on the Pilgrims Way Challenge on Saturday 10th June 2023! Myself, Rob, Beckie and Joanne will be walking 34 miles to raise money to The Pilgrims Hospice. It was extremely hard when myself and Beckie lost our Dad at such a young age but knowing Dad was able to go to The Pilgrims Hospice was such a relief, they supported not only him but us as well andwe couldnt be more grateful.

The Pilgrims Hospice also helped Nanny Eileen and family very recently.  Rob's Nan spoke highly of The Pilgrims Hospice whilst she was under their care, she spoke highly of the care especially mentioning when one of the nurses would quote Gavin and Stacey daily with her. It always made her laugh (she loved Gavin and Stacey!!).

Any donation, no matter how small would mean the absolute world to us, and the Pilgrims Hospice:

  • £100 could pay for 4 hours nursing care for someone with life limiting illnesses; making them comfortable, bringing pain under control and enabling them to live will until end of life.
  • £12 could pay for a patient's meals for a day
  • £25 could pay for an hour of nursing care
  • £35 could pay for a patients consultation in their own home
  • £50 could pay for essential nursing supplies
