On Sunday 23rd August we will be setting off on a 4 day cycle ride in memory of our good friend Captain Andrew Griffiths who sadly died 10 years ago after wounds he sustained whilst serving in Afghanistan. We will be starting the ride in Weeton, home to the Duke of Lancaster 2nd Batallion, Andy’s unit, and will travel down through the Midlands, finishing at the Tidworth Military Cemetery, a ride of approximately 250 miles. We all met Andy whilst at Loughborough University and given his love of anything active we feel that this is a fitting way to remember a great man. We are hoping that we can raise as much money as possible for Blesma which delivers a vital service to support serving and ex service men and women.
