Land's End to Bristol Cycle Challenge · 19 September 2019 to 22 September 2019 ·
This summer ‘Team Honour’ is raising money to support the dedicated and awe inspiring work that goes on in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU).
In January tiny baby Honour was born 12 weeks premature weighing just over 1kg. For the first 72 days of her life she received the most incredible care from the wonderful team at NICU at St. Michael’s Hospital in Bristol. During this time we were humbled not only by the amazing work carried out by the medical team, but also by the strength, fight and determination of tiny and often very poorly babies, and the resilience of new parents and families at such an intense and difficult time.
Now baby Honour is home and focusing on growing big and strong, its time for Team Honour to say a massive thank-you to all involved in her NICU care. Team Honour is Dad Andy, Auntie Rachel and Uncle Ben and this summer we are cycling from Land’s End to Bristol to raise money for the Cots for Tots charity at St Michael’s Hospital. It’s not a relay! We are each cycling the full 250 miles, yikes!,
Cots for Tots play a crucial role in supporting, babies, parents and staff at NICU St Michael's. They provide pioneering equipment, support life-saving research , and provide support, advice and accommodation to parents and siblings during this most stressful time. This Cots for Tots fundraising is part of the Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Appeal for Bristol Children’s Hospital.
Cots for Tots changes lives every day. We know, they changed ours! And to say a massive thank you we are taking on a massive challenge and are very grateful for your support. Thank you!
