Leanne's Snowdon at Night page

By now you all know why I fundraise! Dan’s son Jack passed away in October 2018 after a very short battle with brain cancer and was looked after by the amazing staff on Ward 5 at SCH.
I try to do something different/scary or daring each year, 2022 was different and I was having a year off….. until the events team told me about this!
So in October I’ll be climbing Snowdon at night, setting off around 11pm!!
Beginning in the town of Llanberis, in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, this spectacular challenge will see me and fellow fundraisers trekking to the top of Snowdon.
This night time challenge will test my physical and mental limits but I will be fully supported all the way by experienced Mountain Leaders from Alfresco Adventures as I ascend to the summit.
Snowdon is 1,085 metres above sea level and has some steep and rocky sections and paths; it’s an exciting mountainous environment!!
All of this to raise money for #TeamJack and Sheffield Children's Hospital.
Thank you so much for ready and supporting #teamjack xx
