On Saturday 31 May 2014 most of us will be looking forward to a lie in and a quiet (or not so quiet) weekend. Myself, Lizzie Griffiths, Nisha Kerai and Nell Shaw will be getting up to start our 100km trek. We'll walk the equivalent of more than 2 marathons, and climb the height of Ben Nevis and Snowdon put together. Whilst you are getting ready for a Saturday night out or take away on the sofa - we'll still be walking. As you go to bed - be that an early night or as the sun comes up on Sunday morning - we will STILL be walking. If all goes to plan around Sunday lunch time we'll finish our 100km trek in the Yorkshire Dales.

We are fundraising for Oxfam, who work in over 90 countries, fighting poverty around the world through emergency response, development projects and campaigns to tackle the root causes of poverty. A donation of just £7 can feed a family of six for 10 days during an emergency by providing basic rations or cash vouchers. £24 can provide a farming family with the equipment needed to plant an allotment, improving their diet - and their income.

We appreciate all of your support and donations and it will help us to carry on at 4am, once we've been walking for 21 hours with another 9 to go to know that you're all behind us and supporting a great cause.
