Intergalatic Towel Day - Friday 25 May 2012
Towel Day is an annual celebration, as tribute to the late author Douglas Adams (1952-2001). It is customary on this day to proudly carry a towel in his honour.
To anyone that has either read, listened or watched the “Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy”, the utility of knowing where your towel is, at all times, is beyond measure.
Thales eSecurity will be supporting Towel Day 2012 at each of its UK sites, and will be collecting on the day for the “Alzheimer’s Society” from all participants. We certainly encourage individual sponsorship for participation.
Staff who do not bring their towel, or don’t know where it is will be fined two earth pounds! Payments in Ningys will not be accepted.
If you wish to participate, but will not be on site on the 25 May, DON’T PANIC! You can make your donations/fine-payments at your local reception prior to the event, or on the JustGiving website (http://www.justgiving.com/TeS-TowelDay2012).
All funds raised from this event will be donated on behalf of Thales e-Security to the Alzheimer’s Society UK. For any further information on this event, please contact Jonathan Jenkyn (jonathan.jenkyn@thales-esecurity.com).
