Story
David Lloyd Acton Park and West London Audi were keen to work together on an ambitious challenge whilst giving back both locally and nationally and recognised that health and wellbeing is talked about regularly, with a particular focus in today's society on our mental health. Believing that physical and mental wellbeing is closely aligned, we both felt it appropriate to look at fundraising for a charity that is best placed to reach out and help those in need of support of mental health specialists, whilst doing something physical. As a result we've decided to support Mind, who believe that "no-one should have to face a mental health problem alone"; a view that both businesses wholeheartedly agree with.
In addition to this we will also be collecting money for Acton Homeless Concern at David Lloyd Acton Park and West London Audi, giving back to a local charity who help support those with nowhere to go.
At 12pm on May 30th we will begin the challenge of burning one million calories over 24 hours, finishing at 12pm on 31st May. It's going to be a huge challenge but we believe with everyone's support we can beat both our physical and financial targets!
