The Cheering Squad initially formed as a 'Whats App' group to support the Jones family when Mum Jo was diagnosed with leukaemia. We are raising funds to thank the Royal Marsden for all they have done to help the Jones family and the many other friends and family who have had treatment at the hospital.
The 33 Cheering Squad Members, aged between 5yrs and 50+ are:
14 milers: Rob & Becca Jones, Sara & Mia Stevens, Alex, Tomas and Zoe Lorenz, Fiona & Sophie Glencross, Sarah Nendick, Zola Purdie, Simon, Jo, Ben & Emily Cole.
5 milers: Jo & Izzy Jones, Elizabeth, Gary, Ewan and Rosie Walker, Romy, Andy, Heidi and Pippa Rush, Helen, Chris, Emily and Poppy Moore, Sam, Evan, Thomas & Oscar Stopford.
Each family has got their own fundraising page but we realise that we have many mutual friends who might find it easier to sponsor us as one group, hence this page.
0ver 20 of us completed the Marsden March in 2017, raising over £6,000.
We'd love to beat last year's total so any and all donations will be very much appreciated by us and all at the Royal Marsden!
