On the 24th of June we will be gathering a small group of canopy climbers, explorers and scientists to spend the night in one of Scotlands most beautiful and iconic forests: the Caledonian Pine Forests of Glentanar Estate Scotland.  A place very close to my heart this area will provide the platform for our group to showcase our support for forest protection worldwide in the global event The Big Canopy Campout  http://www.thebigcanopycampout.com. 

All donations will be given to The World Land Trust to purchase a critical section of Kinabatangan forest in Borneo which, if purchased by oil palm companies, will fragment a vital forest corridor forever.  The World Land Trust Borneo Project is close to securing the funds to place these in forest in Trust with £197000 of the necessary £250000 raised to date.
