My sister and I are taking part in the Hatfield Broad Oak 10k race in support of our local food bank.  As a short, fat, unfit man, I'm not aiming for a time - I just plan on finishing it.

Bishop's Stortford might be an affluent area but there are pockets of deprivation.  Because people often assume everyone this way is well off, help for people in poverty here is limited.  Food poverty is a real thing in our community.  No child should go hungry yet every day they do.  That is why we are running to raise money for the local food bank.
