Our Centre for Adoption Support Choir started in 2017 and has gone from strength to strength, growing in members; all of whom are either adopted, have adopted siblings or have parents in the profession. The children get together for a fun singing session, build their confidence and make new friends.
This group is not only fun for the children but provides an emotional release for them, as it develops their sense of security and provides a way to express their feelings. Through singing in parts, the children learn to be independent whilst also learning to respond to others musically. They take pride in their group accomplishments together and form lasting relationships with the other children.
We would love to raise £1000 to enable us to continue with this amazing activity for the next year and offer them more opportunities, music equipment or even a chance to visit a recording studio! Can you please help us this Giving Tuesday?
