Personal Profile

Hi I am Thomas Nolan and I was born in 1970 which makes me 39 years old.  My goal is to complete the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge; I feel it will be a great achievement.  The feeling of personal success will be fantastic and do wonders for all those involved.

I plan to do more exercise before hand by attending the gym more often than I currently do.  I aim to attend to go to the gym 3 times per week to improve my stamina.  I have a free gym pass to get to the gym whenever I want.  I would like to go to the gym Monday, Wednesday and Friday daytimes.

I have always liked exercise and the chance to improve my fitness I and really want to finish the work as a personal achievement.  I haven’t done any major walks like this before so the challenge will be great.

I came to Stonham to help my recovery from substance abuse from which I have been clean 7 months.  Stonham staff members have been very helpful

Stonham Challenge Profile

Stonham provides housing, care and practical support for vulnerable people. Stoneham's work is about ensuring that disadvantaged people can live securely and independently. It works with single homeless people, people with mental health problems, young people leaving care, women and children escaping domestic violence, ex-offenders, refugees, vulnerable mothers and people with substance misuse problems.

We will be climbing the Yorkshire three peaks in the hope of building up enough sponsorship money to help us fund further projects including taking part in the national three peaks challenge next year.

This project was seen as an ideal opportunity for staff and residents of Stonham to develop team working skills and confidence.  All parties involved are looking forward to the huge sense of pride and achievement they will get from completing this project.
