The Rotary Club of Teddington and the Hamptons are fund raising to support disaster relief for Beirut. Funds raised here will be forwarded directly to the Rotary club of Beirut Cosmopolitan who can make sure it is used most effectively. The explosion at the port has impacted the entire city resulting in widespread destruction, many dead, injured and thousands of citizens made homeless. This at a time with COVID19 the hospitals are already overwhelmed. In tackling the crisis our the club in Beirut have identified the following areas needing urgent help; Medical supplies, PPE Food, Shelter Blankets and household items Equipment to help with clearing up and building materials to start the process of recovery.
