BUPA Great North Run 2013 · 15 September 2013 ·

We’re the UK’s leading charity for Crohn’s and Colitis. Right now, over 500,000 people in the UK are living with a lifelong disease that many people have never heard of. We’re working to improve diagnosis and treatment; to fund research and to raise awareness.

Story

So along with other members of my family we have decided to run the Great North Run for the Crohn's and Colitis UK charity in memory of my wonderful cousin Matthew. The run will mark exactly one year since he sadly left us. I will be running the course alongside his wife Mel, sister Angela and brother Luke. I would be honored if you could spare a little time and a little money (or even a lot if you feel so inclided!) to help spur us on.

If you didn't know Matthew then I would also encourage you to read the article that the Whitby Gazzette wrote about him highlighting how much of a loved figure he was in his home town: http://goo.gl/EClnC

So please dig deep and I promise to post up pictures of us all, looking absolutely knackered and sweaty once we've finished! - if that doesn't encourage you I don't know what will!

Please note that this is my personal target for this event, so don't forget to donate to Mel, Ange and Luke too if you know them!
