Mum, Dad, Elena and I have signed up for virtual distance challenges this year to keep us all active throughout the year, and for some extra motivation, we thought we would let everyone know our targets and ask you to donate to some great charities to make sure we can't give up!!

My challenge is 2278 miles virtually along Route 66 in the US from Chicago to LA.  Officially I have 24 months to run, walk or cycle that distance, but I am aiming to run it all within 12 months. 

We have picked three charities to contribute to:

Through work, I see how the work done by East Anglia Children's Hospices, is crucial for children and their families at incredibly difficult times in their lives. 

Circles Network supports and advocates for people with disabilities in many different ways, and has made a huge difference to many lives.

The Alzheimer's Society supports people and families affected by dementia and contributes to funding vital research into this awful condition.  This one is close to all our hearts as we all have had close family affected by dementia and seen its effects close up.
