20 years ago, (11th October 2002) my mother sadly took her own life. At the age of 15 this impacted my life, as well as my family's. Within this tragedy I was also told that my Mother's Father also sadly took his own life before I was born, so never had the pleasure of meeting him, but I've heard great stories about him.

In their memory, I have decided to embark and enter the 2023 London Marathon, in support of the Samaritans but to also raise awareness of mental health and the importance of seeking support.

I have never completed a marathon but I want to raise as much money as possible, in honour of these two amazing people, who will always be remembered.
