Story

Hello,

Thank you for visiting my just giving page, I assume if you have made your way here you know the reason for me setting up this page.

On the 1st September 2008 my mum Linda lost her fight with Bowel Cancer. My mum was diagnosed with this disease in early April but unfortunately the cancer was already at an aggressive stage which gave my mum little chance of getting better.

My mum was a fantastic person who had many friends and who touched so many people. Never to have a bad word said against her she could light up any room with her beaming smile and unique laugh.

And in her memory I have fortunately been selected by the charity Beating Bowel Cancer to run in one of their allocated places for the London Marathon next spring. This is a huge challenge in which I will have to train for 6 months and raise £2000 to guarantee my place. Along the way I aim to raise the awareness of this horrible disease and make my mum and family proud.

If you could provide support through a donation and raising the awareness of this page it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again for visiting my page

Tom
